Our Paramedics are registered health professionals with specialised training and experience in prehospital healthcare. Paramedics are able to provide advanced life support, interventions and care that goes beyond basic first aid. Paramedics represent the gold standard for prehospital healthcare in austere environment with limited resources. Our team ensures peace of mind, rapid response times, and professional medical care tailored to your event’s specific risks and requirements.

All our paramedics are currently registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), following a tertiary qualification and are all experienced with hands on pre-hospital emergency care. this registration must be renewed on a yearly basis to remain on staff as a paramedic. Many of our Paramedic staff currently work for the State ambulance services, hospital emergency departments, or other high-risk environments.

Paramedics are recommended for events with a higher risk of serious injury or medical emergencies, including:

  • Contact sports (rugby, AFL, soccer, martial arts, etc.)
  • Large-scale events with high attendance
  • Motorsport and extreme sports
  • Events requiring comprehensive medical risk management or high-risk cohort in attendance (ie special needs and elderly)
  • Remote location events with limited access to emergency services

Ranked most to least important

  • Airway management tools (including suction)
  • Cardiac monitoring and defibrillators
  • Advance Hemorrage control
  • Advanced wound care supplies
  • Spinal immobilisation and fracture management gear
  • Oxygen therapy
  • Intravenous (IV) fluid administration capabilities
  • Pain relief medication

While our paramedics provide immediate emergency care and stabilisation, they do not replace ambulance transport. Instead, they work alongside ambulance services to ensure the best patient outcomes ensuring a continuity of care by providing critical intervention before transport arrives.

Yes, you can absolutely have a mix of paramedics and standard medics for your event. The composition of the team will depend on the specific needs of your event and the assessed likelihood of requiring advanced medical care. In many cases, one paramedic supported by a team of medics is sufficient, but we can tailor the booking to suit your event’s unique requirements and risk profile. Our team will work with you to ensure the right level of coverage for effective risk mitigation.
